The other founding members are the Associação National de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento das Empresas Inovadoras (ANPEI– National Association for Research and Development of Innovative Companies), Brazil, the European Industrial Research Management Association (EIRMA), Europe, the Industrial Research Institute (IRI), USA, the Japanese Research Industries and Industrial Technology Association (JRIA), Japan, and the Korean Industrial Technology Association (KOITA), Korea.
AIRG is involved with the Connecting Australian-European Science and Innovation Excellence (CAESIE) initiative, establishing science and technology collaborations between SMEs and researchers in Audtralia and Europe. More details can be seen on the CAESIE website and in the CAESIE Presentation delivered at the AIRG Winter Meeting 2013.
The AIRG works closely with the ATSE (the Australian Academy of Technology, Science and Engineering)
It also maintains close contact with the Australian Government Department of Industry and Science which manages a national innovation policy for Australia.
